Founded in 2005, EFFICIENT EVOLUTIONS is a Company Sale & Company Acquisition Consultancy. We connect buyers and sellers for company sales, mergers, acquisitions and investments in privately held businesses. Most transactions we are involved in have a value between $1 million and $10 million.
Our Management Team strives to bring the best of their experience of working for multi-billion dollar companies to small and mid-size companies while keeping our prices low enough to make them affordable to our client target group.
We represent small and medium sized businesses, individual investors and private equity firms. The company is headquartered just outside of Boston in Newton, MA and has a satellite office just outside of Washington, DC in North Bethesda, MD.

Anja Bernier- President of Efficient Evolutions LLC is a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers and an Accredited Associate of the Institute for Independent Business.
She was born and raised in Germany and is a Cum Laude Graduate of the University of Applied Science Dortmunds and the Amsterdam School of Business trilingual (German, English, Dutch) double-degree (German and Dutch) International Business program. Her work experience covers 5 countries on 3 continents. She is bilingual in German and English and proficient in Dutch. Prior to starting Efficient Evolutions, Anja Bernier spent over a decade working in Marketing and Business Development for some of the worlds leading consumer goods companies, such as Kraft Foods and Dannon (Danone). Previously, she had the sole responsibility for establishing a US subsidiary for a privately-owned, multi-billion dollar European company involving intensive M&A work. She is sought after as a speaker at national and international conferences and is a guest lecturer on Marketing, International Business and Entrepreneurship at top business schools. Dr. Jack J. Holder, Jr., Senior Vice President, has decades of experience in managing, buying & selling businesses. Jack attended Indiana University on a football scholarship, and continued his education to earn an MBA and Doctorate. He has authored five books and more than twenty-five articles in professional journals and has taught at the university level in six U. S. states, Europe and Africa.His professional business experience includes CEO and COO positions with motor carriers, ocean carriers, and environmental companies. He served three years as a Managing Director of a company in Singapore and two and one-half years as a consultant and university professor in Austria. He has made numerous professional addresses to business and academic gatherings.
