For these clients, he was instrumental in systematizing all aspects of the launch process, including marketing strategy & positioning, segmentation, identity & business systems, Internet design and strategy, collateral, public relations, direct marketing programs, sales channels, and pricing strategies. The result: dozens of successful company launches, with one client acquired by Verisign for $750 million and another by Critical Path for $100 million.
Prior to Launch Pad, Steve worked for CSC Index and Bain & Company, two leading international management consulting firms advising Fortune 1000 companies. For these clients, he specialized in operations redesign, marketing strategy and mergers & acquisitions. In more than a dozen separate projects, documented client value added exceeded $1 million.
Steve has an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a Director of the Honolulu Executives Association and a member of the International Association of Business Brokers and Small Business Hawaii. He has written several articles on business brokerage and strategy that have been published in the Pacific Business News. He enjoys historical novels, scuba diving, traveling, golfing (badly) and dining out at Honolulus many fabulous restaurants. He is married to wife Helen and proud father to son Alex, 14.
