Benedict A. Silverman, Chairman
A member of the Florida Bar, Mr. Silverman graduated from the University of Florida College of Law. Before joining The Mortgage Corporation of America as in-house counsel, Mr. Silverman practiced private law. Later, Mr. Silverman and his partner acquired The Mortgage Corporation of America where he served as Chairman of the Board for ten years. While at MCA, the primary clients where Kmart Corporation, Wal-Mart Stores and Kroegers. Since 1987, Mr. Silverman has been managing the sales and purchase of his personal assets of net-leased retail facilities, primarily Wal-Mart, including the Deerfield Mall and The Home Depot Center in Delray Beach.
Nathan F. Goldstein, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Goldstein is a highly creative and performance driven investment leader who participated in raising more than $1 billion dollars to launch and expand emerging growth businesses. During his successful investment banking career, he helped advance numerous growth companies from inception through their final preparation for an IPO in such sectors such as Internet, Medical, Life Sciences, Retail, and Telecommunications.
Melvin L. Vaz, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Vaz is a highly focused executive coming from a successful background as Vice President of Operations for a privately owned and held media company after his start in Investment Banking at publicly traded Kirlin Securities, Inc. (NASDAQ: KILN). Throughout his career, Mel has brought a unique and organized approach to solving the complex problems related to the growth of internal corporate operations while keeping an eye toward the bottom line for employees and investors alike.
