46 year Established Painting Company
Yavapai County, AZ
Gross/Net presented for the past three years:
2015 to date: $278,275/231,576
This is a long standing Painting Company operating in Prescott, AZ since 1969. My Father started the company in 1969 completing home repaints and new construction, and I was there to learn the ropes along the way. When I took it over in 1993, I started to learn the Commercial Painting side of the spectrum and slowly built up the clientele to include both Residential and Commercial. The past three years have been very good for the business with higher gross and net revenue to provide a very nice income - enough to build our new home free and clear and buy a Condo in St. Croix, USVI. The potential for growth is purely at the hand of the buyer - I have completed the name recognition and receive invitations to bid all over the State of Arizona, which some I have done. IE: Dept of Defense - Luke AFB, Dept of Veterans Affairs, Dept. of Reclamation, Dept. of Agriculture, City of Prescott, City of Sedona, Town of Jerome, Town of Cottonwood, Town of Prescott Valley, Town of Chino Valley, and countless General Contractors that we have worked for over the years, and continue to get bid invitations from.
Currently, I have over $150,000 in contracts secured to start 2016.
My marketing concept is mostly word of mouth and some web presence, and know that it would raise 10 fold if there was a push to establish the name to new Residential Clients, but honestly believe that the Commercial side is Iron Tight by completing first rate service, on time and on budget - this is why I have so much return commercial and residential business. On average, we obtain 35% of the commercial bids that are presented, which I believe is a good living with most of the commercial bids being in the $50 -$150k range.
I have a Bachelor of Science Degree at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and a Masters of Science at ASU, and I choose this profession to offer a great living for my family - no regrets!
