Hello Daniel,

I agree with Don - like any other business, you need to look at the business' financials and identify any trends. However, from a purely human point of view, I believe most folks would rather give up almost any other amenity than attempt to keep their own pool in sparkling condition. Believe me, I've tried and it didn't take long to re-contract their services.

You might also have a niche market among realtors - no one can sell a house with a pool that is green with algae. I would definitely check out this opportunity - it's a lot of hard work but I think the sky is the limit as far as identifying new markets.

Since the crisis really began about two years ago, and since the heaviest part of the crisis began last October, if it has not critically hurt the business by now, it may have gotten past the worst. I would take a look at the Revenue and Profits on a month-to-month basis. See what the pattern of Revenu has been during all of that time. If it has held up, you may have a winner.
