which type of businesses sell fast? I am looking for one to improve then move on

I want to know what would be a good business to get into with little outlay and effort to run. If i can get it to do better i need to be ure it will sell quickly. What business of type of business would meet my criteria? Thanks

Software,Information technology and healthcare. Those businesses sell fast and there are plenty of private equity firms that want to buy those companies. With facebook,twitter,googe,etc .becoming these huge companies. Social media and internet marketing firms are selling for very high prices.

There are any number of businesses that can be turned around for profit. The type of business almost makes no difference - it depends on your particular skills and the speed with which you can turn it around.

We deal with one man that buys businesses in receivership, at a deep discount. The problem is not in finding them or turning them around; the issues are that, once you bring it to profit, how fast you can re-sell it, and what it will take to get the business financed by the new Buyer.

The vast majority of lenders will require three (3) years of Tax Returns, prior to considering a loan. That term can include a year of losses or poor performance, but it almost must provide at least two (2) yers of positive profit. The lender will want to see that length of record profit in order to make certain that the profit you showed was not some sort of blip, particularly with the historical record of losses. The lender will want to know the business profits can be sustained, once a new Buyer comes into the picture.

The alternative is that you hold the note, yourself. This is what the gentleman we work with is doing. Because he buys at a discount, he feels that he minimizes his risk for the loan he is offering the Buyer, and the monthly payments provide him with a steady cash flow, over the term of the various loans.

Again, the key is not the kind of business you acquire. The longer it takes you to to bring it around, the more it will cost you. It is your own set of skills that would allow you to turn the business around to profitability in the shortest amount of time, with a maximum of efficiency.
