Bruce, I have an internet business for sale that has been in business for many years. It has a targeted newsletter subscriber base of 8,000-10,000 people whose email addresses have never been sold. The business made $20K per year a few years back, but, the owner became injured and has basically let it go and has not gotten back to advertisers who wish to advertise and people who wish to join. It's not really making money at the moment. It does have a lot of media attention, (helps with advertising expenses), high traffic, (which costs a lot of money to get), and three written appraisals from top people in the internet appraisal business. These were taken before the name was tradenamed. The domain is two highly searched keywords. With a little bit of money to update the website, contact the advertisers who wished to advertise and go on all the social media groupings, (she hasn't done that), you could probably earn your money back within a year. The appraisal reports go from $25K, $45K and $65K and were done without consideration of traffic. The owner will take the lowest value of $25K for everything, including website, newsletter subscribers, links, contacts, main domain, sub domains, tradename certificate etc. Let me know if you're interested by contacting me at NDA and proof of funds will be necessary.

Bruce, we have sold several internet related firms over the years, but not exclusive. We see good internet opportunities and bad ones. Talk to several brokers, listen and that may help you in your search.

Bruce, not sure there are brokers who sell ONLY Internet businesses, as the market asks for all kinds (retail, franchises, etc.), but we have some great Internet opportunities. One has been selling on the web since 1996 (essentially the start of e-commerce). One has a proprietary product sold all over the world with a 75% margin. We get some state-of-the-art sites (not your typical ebayer or shopping cart sites, written by someone who took a night class on HTML)
