I second what Mr. Kennedy said below. But I feel it sometimes can work well as an add to another business. Don't kid yourself about making money in the tanning business. It's VERY seasonal. I owned a tanning salon, closed it and added to my Video store. It worked pretty good in conjunction with the video store. Luckily I sold both a few years back cause the video business is about dead too!!

tanning is dead. I used to have a salon. glad I am out of that industry

Low surrounding competition, mid-to-high earning demographics, high populaiton density , ease of ingress and egress...if your mother is a Realtor, it is not much different than any other business; she should know this and be able to help you.

im all about location that is the key in making the type of money and attracting the right people my mom is a realotor in somers new york id love to talk some more because i am a women who can really run an amazing business thanks

Fidn yourself a GOOD, COMMERCIAL Real Estate Agent or Broker, in your area. You don't mention where you want to operate, so giving further information would not be possible.
