how much should i pay for an investment advisory firm

i work for a small investment advisory firm, 5 employees. the owner is now 60 yrs old and is looking to retire. the business grosses about $600k/yr and grows every single yr (unless there's another plummet in the market). how much should i pay to acquire it?

There is not enough information here to suggest a responsible answer. There needs to be a complete analysis of the Expenses and Cash Flow/Net Income to the new Owner, before any such answer can be offered. It sounds like a great opportunity to investigate, but Revenue is not the only issue, by far!
