Don is exactly right; it depends on the tourist attraction. Food and souvenirs are good. You may also consider tour guide, entertainment, hospitality (boarding house) or transportation (taxi).

If it’s a warm weather vacation destination you may consider bicycle or moped rentals. If it’s a water destination maybe boat rentals or rides.

The key may be to determine why the tourists are there? Food is always a good thing for tourism, since the tourists, by nature do not have roots (meaning kitchens,) in places like that. But why do they come there to begin with? If it is a Civil War site, then souvenirs or items that cater to the Civil War buffs are things to consider. Find out why they are there and then look toward businesses that compliment that attraction.
