Michael, I have been in Business Brokerage for more than thirteen years, and I do not stock such an animal! Frequently, I have Buyers ask me to supply them with a template, but the liabilities are so huge, and the variables between businesses are so wide, that doing so would be professional suicide, in my book. From your own perspective, a good way to end a friendship is to do something in a "quick and dirty" manner, such as this - aside from all of the legal ramifications. My suggestion is to steer away from that kind of inexpensive way to go, and invest in an attorney to do the job for you. You can instruct him/her not to go nuts with detail that may never threaten you; but getting the job done professionally is something you would not regret.
