Hi Tony,
We have been in the business of selling routes for over 26 years. We have found that approximately 70% of the Seller's in the route industry will assist with financing on almost any route as long as you place a reasonable down payment. Reasonable would typically mean at least 40-60% down. Otherwise, it is not typically worthwhile for a Seller to sell you his established, profitable business for a lower down payment. That being said there is a new source for financing that many of our clients have used, that is tapping into their IRA's or 401K's to purchase a business. If you would like more information on this alternate form of financing don't hesitate to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you, see our web site for phone numbers.

Tony, if you haven't found anything yet, check us out right away, we are running a special in honor of the returning Vets that can get you in business for less than $10,000. This happened after the answer I have below this one. Thanks, if we can help you get started fast and for less. Jon at EMS.

You can do this with an SBA 7a loan, but most banks won't want to do it because of no colterial and the dollar amount is to small.

Tony, no luck for Fedex but if you like driving without the time pressure or lifting tons of packages each day you might like Edgemaster Mobile Sharpening. We were just listed again in the Entrepreneur Mags TOP 500 franchises, so you might enjoy it also. Give us a look at and
see if it fits your situation. Think outside of "the box". Thanks Jon at Edgemaster.
