Why are my responses only from brokers? Seems like i have just given brokers their direct mail marketing list

Most questions on here are very much in line with what brokers can offer. If you are looking to buy or sell a business it's the brokers who have that information. It only makes sense for them to answer most questions.

I am not a broker and answer only the questions that I have some experience with or interest me as a potential opportunity. I'm typically involved with public companies, franchising, restaurants and marketing. In light of that I answer very few questions on here.

One would expect those people with the requisite expertise to answer a question on any Q & A board, no? Free advice from the experts is what most of the questioners are looking for.
Brokers are the experts in selling businesses, by definition.

It depends upon what you are asking. And keep in mind that the Brokers have something they are trying to sell: Themselves. Non-Brokers have relatively little to gain by answering you - you are not paying them for their answers. And those that could benefit are waiting for you to contact them, rather than the other way around.

That aggressiveness one of the reasons to use a Broker.
