I.I.Y. Fracture Investments - whose representative answered this question - claims to have been around for ten (10) years, but there appear to be no references to it on the Web, except where they have begged for investors! The representative's telephone has a Hawaii area code, but he has listed his location as being in Colorado. But guess what? The company he professes to represent is not chartered or incorporated in either state! Be very wary!!!

I looked into Jason Parnell's company and could never validate that it even existed. I am not saying this is a scam, but I would suggest taking extreme care before investing with this group!

Jefferson, certainly you have the delegation and management skills to run a business in an arms length, which was the point of my original question. The next question might be whether there are business opportunities that would allow you to take advantage of your current business connections, without compromising your current position?if you do not own the hotels you manage, then it could become difficult for you. A further question is that when you speak in terms of "part time", are you speaking of something where you can be physically present all the time, or are you talking about something you could manage from a distance? If you are managing it from the distance, a mammoth consideration would be something that is not cash intensive, because any business that involves a lot of cash gives rise to employee theft. Hookah bars are a rage in many areas of the Country, particularly around University settings, but they are frequently, exceedingly cash intensive. Vaping stores are also hugely successful right now, involve relatively low start up costs and can be set up with our code systems for your inventory, giving you much more in the way of control than other retail outlets such as convenience stores. But the term, "part time" is a severely limiting consideration, again depending of on your own, personal definition. $100,000 is a considerable amount of money and can be leveraged quite nicely for any number of businesses; however, a huge number of businesses that would give you an adequate return on your investment are going to require full-time attention. That attention may not necessarily be by you personally 100% of the time, but ultimately you would obviously need to be in a position to monitor it effectively and on a real-time basis.

The more appropriate question is, what are you qualified to manage or generally do, in the way of owing and supervising a business? That will tell you most of what you need, in making that kind of determination.
