What questions should I ask when purchasing a laundromat business other than the price & why are you selling?

I am thinking about going into business for myself within the next year but I want to make sure I'm doing it for the right reasons. I'm leaning toward purchasing a laundromat or dry cleaners. I have a skill set in customer service and helped my father run his small business when I was younger. I was wondering what best questions I should ask, and whom I should ask those questions, before making a business purchase and what resources I should use to get additional information about the dry cleaning and laundromat industry. Thanks.
