What is the best way to get brokers to respond to my requests regarding business they have posted?

I have reached out to several brokers either through the "contact" button or by directly calling them. Unfortunately I get less than 50% return. What do I need to do to let folks know I am serious and ready to buy now.

Hi Roy,

As a buyer you want to stand out to the broker. Always answer the basic questions that are listed ie how much you have available, sign the non-disclosure and even send a basic resume and financial statment this will show them that you are seriuos. As most buyer's will not do this this will show the broker and his client that you are serious. If you approach it this way you will guaranteed get a better result. If you still have had no repsonse look at someone else's listings. I hope that helps...

Long time ago when I was buying businesses of my own I had similar complaint. I used to think
these brokers have gone probably to other planet where they can't be reached or they have no means of communication.That was the reason I entered into this profession to find outwhether these people are really that much busy or they purposely ignore the calls or emails.
Hereis the reason why are they so much ignorant.
One of the main reason is that they are lazy.They don't take this profession seriously. Also some people never get mature regardless of how olde they are.This is specially true with the new generation .This is the way they are take it or leave it. Who is there to be blamed.The answer is "generation gap".Nobody can fix that problem.If you still can find any broker alive from 70's you can easily differentate him by his way of talking.These brokers are very responsive and methodical in their approach. Before you could ask any question chances are that they would have already addresed that question.
Unfortunately you can't do nothing about it .And that is why some people are living dead because they fail to understand why it is so. Even if you are right yet you become misfit. And the bad manners become the norms of the society and majority start taking it for granted and don't feel anything abnormal or unusual.This is the bitter truth which everybody has to bear.

Roy, we don't know their reasons, but clearly what they're doing is very "unethical" or they're not over yet with their childhood and wants to play hide-n-seek...I say what they're doing is very stupid...if they want a sale, they should show up and let themselves available...Anyway, what is it that you are eyeing on?
