What is the best primer on buying a business for a first-timer?

Coming out of corporate America and looking to buy my first business. What are the best books, articles, blogs, etc., to prepare myself? Thanks.

Are you only interested in buying a business or are you also interested in investing ? I'm looking for an investor for a profitable business. If you're interested, e-mail me with questions at tinkpinkgirl101@yahoo.com.

Before doing anything, I would learn as much as possible about the business you are looking to buy and I would make sure that I have sufficient access to capital. Then I would get familiar with the buying process as explained through the following link: http://smallbusiness.aol.com/start/startup/article/_a/how-to-buy-a-business/20051214220609990001 . I would then put together an acquisition team (namely a skilled lawyer and accountant) who will be able to help guide me through the process. Then I would consult with brokers to locate a seller.
