I have found it helpful to "like" other pages of people with similar interests/businesses. We are selling the book we wrote about out Grandma, who was a famous artist and her work is used a lot in Art Therapy so I like about anything that has to do with Art Therapy, Depression and Bi-Pokar, which drives people to her FB and Website. I guess it depends on what you are selling if that would work or not. We also sell a "Baby Book for Horses, A Foals Tale" that she illustrated and we do the same there! It's also leads you to lots of page looks anyway!

Hi everyone here. What Christine Coleman said is very true though i may not know her. I experienced it first hand also. It was this organization called fidelity loan Finance (f.l.f)that really helped me to pay my medical bills when i was in dare need of money because i am a widow. A friend of mine also directed me to them. when i was about to do a major operation and i had no money at that time, they came to my rescue and in less than 48 hours, i got my loan. But to say the truth, i was nervous and scared at first because i have been scammed twice. But when i summoned up courage and follow their lending policies along with my friends advice, at the end i found myself smiling. If not for them, maybe i would have been dead by now. I have even taken another loan from them start my business after my recovery which i am also paying back now. You must be getting hits from google, yahoo, msnbc etc. You need to find the contacts that get you noticed on the search engines.. Keep in mind this has a price to it.

What is needed is diversification of your marketing strategies, pay per clicks can be expensive and non-effective. Mailings are also expensive, most people throw coupons away, it is a fact that more people print coupons from online ads then print. You want to target market the local customers in your zipcode who use the internet to shop, research and socialize. Use a directory, that provides a web presence and pushes traffic to your site, without any extra cost.

Wow, that's a big wide target! It sort of depends on what you are selling. Products, services, etc?

If you are on the web I'll assume you have taken a look at pay per click advertising, organic search and stuff like that. but you may no have thought about using direct mail as a way to drive traffic.

There are plenty of services out there that give you turn key service and allow for small volume www.directmail.com comes to mind as does www.gotprint.com... both make it super easy.

If you have a strong offer and some half decent design you can make it work. Test small... go bigger with what works etc.
