What can I do to increase the number of inquiries?

My listing has been up for over 30 days and I have had only one response.
Perhaps I am not in the best industry listing or my ad is unapealling?

Listen to kellen C advice he has sold 4 businesses of his own and now he is master of selling.
And look at me I am selling businesses for 12 years only and must have sold hundreds of businesses and still I am learning. What a pity.
In other words he is suggesting if you have a case in the court represent yourself you don't need a
lawyer or if you need a surgery don't go to a surgeon lie down on a table take an injection of anaesthesia yourself and operate on yourself.
Here is a story of self doer.
Long back I listed one retail store and procured one buyer for seller. They used to speak same language. In the first meeting buyer and seller decieded and insisted that they don't need my services anymore so I should leave them alone. I requested them to sign an indemnification letter to relinquish me they signed and also promised me my commission at the end of consumation. of sale.
The landlord didn't sign the lease over to buyer as he demanded a part of the money from selling price. Thy did not want to involve me with the landlord. Still the buyer took the possession of the business.
After 3 months a guy appeared at the store and asked the new owner who he was. He answered
he was the new owner. He said I am the financer of this store and despite the fact the license of the business was in a third person name, this person borrowed from me. He also asked if they have gone through an escrow he denied. He asked did you have any broker the buyer replied with great
pride yes and here is the business card of the broker. He immediately called me and asked me how long I was selling the businesses and questioned my integrity. In response i faxed him the letter they signed which expicitly said that despite the brokers advice to run the escrow for the business buyer and seller want to handle the deal thamselves and broker doesn't hold any responsibility whatsoever.
After reading that he told the buyer that the broker has done his job you are partially responsible for your act besides the person who borrowed money against the business.
Later the financer sued both the parties and got a judgement against both the parties.
Do you learn something from it ,May be Kellen give you some advice.
As far as to increase the number of inquiries drop the price or wait little more 30 days are not enough
to get results depending upon the product. Rewrite the description of the business.

no one will help you unless they can pick your pocket...nothing but brokers on this thing......what a joke ...ive sold 4 buisnesses NEVER needed /used a broker..DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!!! YOU NEVER NEED A BROKER .period
