We have a .com business we want to sell (golf industry). Not sure how to value or find the right help selling

We have the website and complex database built out and working with a handful of real customers using it. It is still in the start-up phase (not profitable). This has huge growth potential for someone who knows how to market it, has the money to do that, and loves golf. We don't know how to value it or the best way to sell this.

Hey Wendy,
Our Acquisitions firm is also a small business incubator with powerful connections, marketing expertise and plenty of capital to put to work for your business. I like the business model and think a few small changes or additions to the model could really help drive the business model along. I'm good friends with an Executive at PGA and can possibly work out a very lucrative deal with them. Please call me when you have a few minutes and if this opportunity is still available. You can visit our site at the link provided below! Thanks

Reply to Buy-a-Business: We've tried to find a partner . . . no luck. We're selling because we don't have any expertise in Marketing and have run out of Marketing money. Anyone who loves golf, knows marketing and has some money to support their marketing knowledge can get a piece of this business. Check us out @ www.citygolftour.com.

Hi Wendy,

Not to rain on your parade, but web sites and ideas are a dime a dozen. What makes it a business is cash flow. Without knowing much about your site, one recommendation would be to take on a partner to build it up: sales, customers, cash flow. If it is successful, it would be a win-win situation. As it is, it has very little value. With some sales and profit history, its value would grow exponentially.

Why are you selling? (That may be the answer itself)
