Or are you talking about Market Value Pricing? That is the price at which a product can be sold, given what the market will pay. For example, a Liquor Store maybe valued by a bank for lending purposes, because of its Cash Flow and the ability of the business to pay for the loan and to give the Buyer a decent income, as well. But if Liquor Stores are in high demand, a Cash Buyer may be willing to pay well above the amount specified by the bank. That Cash Buyer is paying on the basis of MVP. It can go the other way: In some certain circumstances, if new regulations are going to negatively affect a given business, the MVP may be far lower than what the Cash Flow would suggest.

MVP can mean different things; knowing the context of your question can help give you a better answer.

In product testing, it is Minimum Viable Product. It is the early stage of product development that is usually sent to potential customers, for them to use and/or test for themselves, to determine their reaction. In sports, it is the Most Valuable Player.
