Hello Christopher --

I saw only one response to your question. If you are seeking a visa to immigrate to the US (Florida), then I suggest speaking with an immigration attorney to see which visas they believe may qualify for.

Then I would interview at least three business brokers in the part of Florida that you are interested in. A good business broker will heed your criteria and attorney's advice.

Some of my past clients who have purchased Orlando businesses in order to qualify for E-2 or L-1 visas have invested between $150K US and $350K US, so I would also review your financial capacity to complete on such a purchase.

You can find attorneys to interview at AILA.org (American Immigration Lawyers Association). I can also email you a list of immigration attorneys that my clients have used that are based in both Orlando or Miami. Just remember that when interview any professional to contact at least three to get an idea of their skills, experience and fees.

Christopher, no one answered this question for you and I am not the expert. However, what I would do is google the Chamber of Commerce in the City you like and start reading everything you can find.
