Should a new biz be a NV corp regardless of state?

We are starting an import/export biz in Los Angeles, CA and have had some advice both ways on this. Is there any big issues with incorporating our biz in NV? Some websites tout it while others discourage it. Looking to anyone who has done it or has real knowledge in this area.
