Seeking Valuation and Funding

I have started the valuation process for an existing business acquisition. I am now at the point where I need a more formal valuation and assistance with funding. The business valuation is likely to be in the $1.5 to $2m range and currently generates $400k / year positive cash flow. I have about $150k to invest and have a credit score in the mid 7's. I am located in the Northeast. Contact me at jer0026@gmail.com.

Jon, what is the Seller's price? Right now, that is more important than your valuation. I would wait on that. The Bank or SBA may require a valuation, which would duplicate your time and costs, in that area. With $150,000 down, you may have to ask the Seller to take back a second, in order to provide you with 20% down, total. Even with that, and at $2 million as the price, your positive Cash Flow would be about $142,000, if I understand the information you have provided. We may be able to do that kind of a loan for you, if that is what you are seeking.
