Open letter to business owners in the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex. I want to buy your business.

I have been looking for a local business, with "lots of potential" to purchase. I am working with a Business Planner who has been very successfully transitioning businesses for over 33 years. The transition methodologies he has developed, have many advantages over the antiquated methods used by most "business brokers".

In every case over the last 33 years using his systems, the seller of the business has ended up with a substantial more total dollars than a "traditional sale", saved income and capital gains taxes, and the systems have also customized additional benefits to the seller.

A couple things, the business must be profitable, I am not interested in turning around a failing enterprise. Would like it to have been in business at least 15 years, franchises are ok. Needs to be in the DFW Metroplex, and ideally not listed with a broker.

If you think your business qualifies, email me.

Todd,

I have a 4 year old franchise in Dallas in the concessions industry. It is an established business (although there is no store front) with a protected territory of 2.5 million or the equivalent of 5 single unit franchises. The climate in Dallas makes this one of our better national markets. If you would like to learn more please email me at bhowell@liptakdental.com

Buy-a- Company

Todd:

We are a "for sale by owner" site. None of our listings use a business broker. Also, several of our listings are easy to relocate, as they are internet-based. Here are a couple that suit your needs:

http://www.buy-a-company.com/listing/21001 {Profitable. In business 25 years}

http://www.buy-a-company.com/listing/40001 {Profitable. In business 8 years}

Also, we are working on a listing that wants to create a nationwide sales staff, with exclusive territories.

Sounds like your "system" will use some sort of "earnout" method of paying the seller. Is that correct?
