Congrats on surviving the first 3 years. A million is quite a milestone. You will need to provide more detail if you want advice or support. Restaurant valuation are all over the map - DO NOT pay for a business appraisal. Any decent Broker in your area should be able to help. If you have a lease, I strongly suggest you speak with the landlord in advance. We have seen more retail deals scuttled by the buyers lack of credit worthiness when it comes to a lease. We have sold a few restaurants nationally and I would encourage you to embrace the following - your business revenues/sales is what you have reported to your state tax collector. Some restaurants do not report all the cash sales (I'm not saying you don't) but then want to add those unreported earnings as part of the sale price. Anyway, again, congrats.
