Is there a demand for eCommerce development consulting?

I have been advertising online since 2006. I have created several extremely successful eCommerce sites. I have the build cycle clearly mapped out from design, marketing, SEO, merchant accounts, customer service, fulfillment, and so on. I am gauging the market for Professional Level Consulting in this field. Do people want help step by step? What is a fair price for this crucial information that has taken over 6 years to develop?

I agree with Joe. Moreover, by doing what he suggests, you not only build a following with the companies you have helped, but you increase your own wealth, particularly if you are able to build in an equity position with each client. I have a very good friend and business associate that did just that with his own consulting, (not with e-commerce, but in another niche market segment,) and he became incredibly wealthy in the process.

Just a quick question, if you have the ability to create these why would you want to be a consultant?

So you want to find a guy or company that says i want to create a successful ecommerce site and just pay $X,XXX or $XX,XXX for a blueprint and/or some guidance?

Most of them will be broke that have this dream, or skeptical you will pull through the results you are promising. So now really whats left is to find a big e-commerce sites and get your way in BUT most of them are just going to want SEO and they will all almost say "increase our traffic or ROI and we will give you a percentage of the increase" again this is why i ask if you are capable why not just build your own without having to prove your skills or work for increase in $$ in order to make any money.
