I'm selling a home audio/video and musical department store including a service center; any suggestions?

Company has been in business for 30 years. We have a wide variety of electronics from residential home audio/video to the commercial side of the house. We also have a car audio/video department and musical instruments of every kind. Interested in selling just the inventory, service equipment and parts.

I agree with Don below. You aren't selling a business. So, expect to sell for perhaps 20 cents on the dollar. Someone will have to take the risk that you don't want to take, that is, selling the inventory you thought would sell. So, they'll need a big discount to take that risk. Other than a liquidator, you can find someone to sell it at auction.

Where is this business located? How much is the total valuation? How much are you asking? Do you have pics? Reply to:

Your best bet may be a liquidator.
