I'm new to the site. Should I contact names on the prospects list I was sent? Some are from over one year ago.

Unless you contact them, they can't give you any offers. You should be able to qualify them (enough money and interest to do your deal, or not?) in a fairly quick information exchange.

Remember that one listing is not your whole potential market. You may have competitors, customers, or employees who could buy your business. There may be business brokers with petcare business intrerests and experience who could list you, and/or help you negotiate a best price even if you bring in the prospects. You can put ads in local, regional, and national pet oriented magazines and "free shoppers." The marketing mantra is that your buyer needs to see you several times before deciding to act on your offer for sale.

Hope this helps,

Bill Price
