I'm interested in selling my Internet gift shops What's the best place to value inventory etc.?

Need to understand what is required and how to value the business based on inventory, Google rankings, etc. Have used Peachtree for years so accounting is good. Is there much of a market for this type of business? If so, how to find a buyer?

There is definitely a market for internet businesses and value depends on revenue trend, age and quality of URL, cash flow , wholesale / cost price of inventory and of course your SEO ranking and traffic among other things. Inventory is normally valued at Wholesale Price, usually verified through presentation of original Invoices and batched against that Inventory, or sometimes through an outside Inventorying company. Price of the Business is based on Cash Flow for small businesses, in most cases. Finding a buyer is best done through a Broker. Those are the short answers on your basic questions.
