When I was 16 I started my first business. I made about $2000 a month repairing and selling paintball guns. I also started a music venue that brought in about $1000 a weekend. The point of all this? - Take what you're passionate about right now, and go for it. You won't have all the answers, but the first step is doing. Start a business plan... What do you want to do? why? Who will buy your product? Why? What will make you different (other than age)? What is going to make me want to buy your product? Next... figure out how much it is going to cost to do business, and charge a minnimum of 400% more. That will give you a good profit margin (My last business made all of its money from monthly payments... retail was marked up about 1200%. It cost me $4.95 to buy the product.. and I sold it for $42.95.

I never answer these but you're a kid so here you go...

1.) You're a kid. Everyone Loves kids starting businesses, but it doesn't last forever so do it now or never. You have no idea how much power it holds, until it's gone.
2.) The key to business is sales. Yes, you have to run a great business but "she who controls sales controls the business". The tiniest things make the biggest differences. And without sales, you're just another kid. Sales means having a channel or place where people buy your stuff, and then them actually buying it.
3.) So, Read Step 2 again, then approach someone to sell your stuff after you have a few prototypes. If you don't sell, it will just be an experiment, which is exactly what everyone will think until you make it happen. Approach only the owner, CEO, etc. Approach the people everyone else tells you not to. Yes, starting at the tip tip top gets you sympathy and empathy. It shows your business accumen and it's the only place to start for you.

4.) Please don't write back as I can't help you anymore but take this advice and do it.

How to Buy a Business

You start by simply starting. So start designing. It helps if you can sew prototypes too instead of just doing sketches. There are basically two types of businesses: high capital and high hustle. Designing is most definitely a high hustle type.
