I want to acquire B2B print shops (profitable or not) to combine with my current plant. Ideas?

Our printing business is unique as we are on the cutting edge from a software perspective. We are loooking for printing businesses that have relationships over a fairly broad area or contracts with large oragnizations. Because of our software we are uniquely positioned to serve those types of accounts.

We want to leverage our advantage and local print shops with lots of face to face contact really do not provide us with the means to do that. We currently have a plant in Northern Nevada that provides Raised Print business cards for large organizations including hospitals, universities and entire states.

Finding and combining additional print shops like this to acquire would be of interest. How do you find specific types of businesses for sale without just browsing through all of the listings?

Ok this is where the business brokers are seperated the MEN FROM THE BOYS. I am sure in Nevada you have some very qualified Brokers. They should put a marketing plan together for you and hit the pavement. They should also have contacts in the marketing world to generate leads. I would also make sure that the broker that does get your business has done this before AND ASK for references.....
