They don't, and they shouldn't, since nondisclosure agreements vary by deal and by need. Some are mutual promises not to disclose or circumvent each other for potential parties to a deal, others are for new employees or contractors. Yours sounds like you have a business, but no brokerage contract with them, sell or buy side. You would do better to get one side or the other of the deal tied down. An NDA/noncircumvent can be included in that deal, along with the rate you will be paid to produce the buy, sell, or investment result the client wants.
