I need an angel investor

I am a young professional male with an abundance of energy and ambition but limited funds. I am a veteran of operation Iraqi Freedom and am currently an engineer for one of the largest defense contractors in the U.S. I have a secret security clearance and am very focused and responsible. I am looking for an angel investor that is interested in the glory without the painstaking hours. I am interested in buying a couple convenience stores with real estate in the Roanoke valley. For the right investor I am willing to work out a generous compensation/repayment plan for any and all funds barrowed to include interest and an ongoing percentage of the companies even after repayment. If anyone is interested please email me at for further information.

Adam, unfortunately you will have to take a number. Your scenario is all too common and represents the majority of buyers on here. I'm surprised you have been overwhelmed with all the spammers on here that will tell you they can give you money for nothing. Beware. The last advice to come will say to get the money from the three F's, friends, family and fools. Without some skin in the game, it will be hard. Don't get discouraged. There are deals to be had but you have to monitor the listings continuously and be ready to act when you find one. I cannot stress enough how important it is to be prepared to do a full due diligence on a promising opportunity. You can learn a lot from some of the people on this board.
I have a question. As a Vet and an engineer, how is it you do not have anything saved, as this seems like a decent paying resume. I don't want to know your private business but a lender may be concerned about your financial discipline. Also, with your education/background, why the convenience industry? As a Vet, you may be able to get a VA loan but you may need to expand your industry/geography specifications. Good luck in your search.
