I have a home based consignment business for sale. Would it be advisable to hire a business broker?

The valuation I got from online sources said the business was worth about $10K, but I am moving out of state in a few months and want to find the right buyer for a smooth transition. Would it be better to hire a broker or just try and sell it myself with an ad on here myself?

Macy, you are better off trying to sell it on your own. Business brokers usually have a minimum flat fee for smaller transactions, which for you would be very cost prohibitive. Hope it helps.
