I am looking for a lender to expand my small business in Rhode island. i have had no luck with SBA loans. (??)

I applied for SEED and an ARC loan with no luck. I have been in business 3 years and sell Industrial Food Processors throughout the US, Canada and Mexico. I am looking for a loan of 30K.

Your greatest chances of success of getting a loan are the manufacturers you deal with. If you've been in business 3 years you have a track record - with them. Explain you want to grow your business (which is also their business) and see if they can help you find a lender that specializes in equipment. The lender could then help you two ways - earn interest off loans they make from buyers that want the equipment or earn a service fee from buyers who want to lease the equipment - all from sales your business has generated. If the manufacturer can't help, talk to other manufacturers. Talk to your local banks and credit unions. Keep going. Small business will lead the US out of recession - so be part of it.
