Why do you want someone to advise you against these franchises? Do you know what you are looking for in a franchise? Are you sure you are a good fit for a food franchise?

I would not advise for or against these giants in the Franchise industry. What is important is to get a "fit" for you with a Franchise and buy at the right price and structure the deal the right wayI work with Subway franchises if interested....check my website...www.mrfranchiseman.com
You may not be able to afford either system's franchise costs. It takes a full startup capitalization (buying the land and hiring the staff and financing the equipment and inventory, etc...), not just the franchise fee -- which is north of $250,000 for MacDonalds -- to buy in to either business. There are 6,000 or more franchise operators, many members of the International Franchise Association, and you can find the names of current operators for each in their disclosure documentation. Talk to current owners about the system(s) you might invest in, work in one for a few months, and see if there is a fit between what's needed to operate a unit or units and your background, interests, and capital available.Hope this helps,Bill PriceWilliam A. It's difficult to speak for or against any franchise without speaking to the client first but feel free to call or email.
