This is a small amount of investment to make into companies, i would say wait until you have 100k.

Hi Boris. You probably already found something, but if you're still looking then maybe I can help you make sense of what is out there. My business partner and I have owned everything from a salon to a restaurant to a mortgage company and you can't buy those for $10-15K...but trust me, you wouldn't want to anyway unless you were super passionate about a specific business. There are way too many headaches babysitting employees and wearing too many hats. If you're just looking to be independent and get your money working for you, then let me know and I will show you something that has a low start-up, low overhead and won't have you pulling your hair out.
