I am a Service Disabled Veteran looking for opportunities, and partnership to take advantage of (SDVOSB)

I am a service disabled veteran and would like to take advantage of the opportunities available to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). I would like to find sellers, partners, bankers, investors, enterpreneurs, mentors, anyone with an idea. I would like to make some connections in which we both benefit.

Hi Michael,
First of all, thank you for your service!
If you would be interested in selling to the government as a SDVOSB, you might want to consider
becoming a new car auto broker.
I have many years of experience selling new vehicles to corporations and government agencies.
All levels of government buy vehicles. City: Public Works, police, etc. County: Sheriff's, community colleges, CarPool Vans etc. State: State patrol, Universities, etc., Federal: Secret Service, HomeLand Security, VA, Navy, USAF, Army, etc. etc. (ever notice any police units when you were on base?)
The Federal government (even in this economy) is the world's largest purchaser of vehicles.
I was a WBE designated business and once won a bid that I co-bid with a company that was a DWBE. We sold specially equipped Mini-buses to the VA. My co-bidder's company did the upfitting for the special seating the VA required for the patients; I handled the new vehicle acquisition part of the bid.
This is a hidden market. Have you ever seen police units for sale at your local dealership? lol!
It's legitimate and not a get rich quick scheme, but you can earn a decent living.
You need no inventory, no past auto experience (but knowing about vehicles helps tremendously). If you're good with technology, especially db where you can compile your own stats, etc., you can make an honest living from your own home.
If this might be of interest to you, I would be open to discussing options that might work. dylgrm@gmail.com
If not, then good luck in your search!
Beth

D'lites Ice Cream Shops
NY

Michael,
We have been looking for somebody to be involved in putting vets into business with us. We are a 29 year old low fat, low calorie soft serve ice cream chain. We are NOT a franchise, we license to shop owners. It is relatively affordable and easy to operate. Similar operation to carvel but with a “healthier” aspect.
Please review our site at www.dlitesshops.com to see if this may be of interest.
Thanks,
Paul

I just sold a business on behalf of a service-disabled vet, that was really screwed over by his partner - who was not disabled. It got me thinking...
Drop me a line and let's make a time to talk via the phone. Don Barrick at combroker@bafgroup.com.
Thanks.
