How to see if a business really exists?

There is a listing I thought sounded like a good business. It is listed by the owner directly. Haven't seen many of those. The Seller has a 877 number to call.

I did get in touch with him once. We talked for 10 mins, I was very interested.

His only question to me was "Do you have the cash?"

Told him I have a good amount of cash. (Yes, I had the cash)

He then said he had to go. lol

Wondering if anyone has bumped into any scammers on here like this?

Ask him to send an Non-Disclosure agreement so you can see his financials, business model etc. If he doesnt have one he's bluffing. Maybe even scamming. Any corp can be verified with the Sectay of State. Carl in Conn.
