How to get financing for restaurant

I am an experienced restaurant operations executive but have bad credit. I have a co-signer with good credit but am wondering if that will be enough to get financing. Anybody have a legitimate answer?

Hi Jennifer; i made 3 different business-plans for my banker before i got the loan to start my restaurant, 11 years ago, my personal funds were about 25-30% only, but my banker "trusted "the previsional-plans, and the team's profiles...it's a question of balance.( Many millionaires have failed because of lack of knowledge in our industry)...
Bon service:-)

Hi Jennifer,

A good FICO won't necessarily qualify for financing but I can tell you what a bank will look for and what we can or can't do. I deal in unsecured Business Lines of Credit with no collateral required.
