How do I price my drycleaners for sale

I am trying to determine a realistic price to sell my drycleanrs. Is 1 year of gross sales and the value of the equipment a fair way to do it?

"Rules of thumb" for Dry Cleaners can be done as a function of either Revenue or Seller's Discretionary Cash (SDC). However, these can frequently be misleading measures and a cross check with more careful and detailed analysis should be done. Equipment value does not come into the equation. Like other such businesses, the value of the equipment is viewed as worth about ten cents on the dollar, immediately as it is installed. As a rule, removal and reinstallation is impractical; its only value is then solely attached to that, specfic business. That factor, in combination with depreciation renders the equipment virtually worthless, except as a function of SDC.
