Well of course most web based businesses are light on hard assets so generally speaking they are not very attractive to conventional bankers or asset based lending. It would require more of a personal loan than an acquisition loan to get them interested. But then you probably know this if you are scouring the lending universe. However I believe the merchant lending industry is ripe for these type of loans. There are tons of them and they typically do not need collateral. They are new to the mechanics of acquisitions but they are aggressive and I have spoken to several that will consider web businesses. They must be established businesses and the loans are expensive but that shouldn't matter if the deal is a good one.
