Does anyone know of a furniture company whose owner might be looking for someone to takeover/purchase

I am really interested in finding a furniture company whose owner is on the midst of retiring and searching for someone to take over their business with the option to purchase at a later date. Does this type of arrangement ever pose itself or are their owners who might consider something like this?

David, I have a listing for a N Dallas furniture store and the seller will finance a significant part of the $399K list price with a reasonable down payment. You can get details on the business at Bizbuysell.com AD# 473625. If this doesn't work for you, I think Peter makes a reasonable option...

How to Buy a Business
WA

What I have learned from ten years of brokerage is to never say never. First educate yourself on how businesses are bought and then start contacting every furniture store in the state. If you find a motivated buyer who likes and trusts you, there are all sorts of ways to cut deals that make sense for everyone.
