How to Buy a Business

Let me get this straight. First you want free money. Then you also want someone else to do the work of finding it for you.

There's a small chance that you may not be cut out for entrepreneurship.

Most grants are not geared toward buying a business. They are predominately designed to deal with starting businesses in areas that are designated as having employment crises. The goal is to get speculators to start up businesses for people that are difficult to employ, in areas that have relatively little hiring activity.

If you have a local city or county business development department, I would start there. That is your absolute best bet.
