Are profit margins figured the same way for wholesale cost to store

Are profit margins ever figured differently when products are sold from different levels? Example: From wholesale cost $1.00 to store cost $3.00 and from store cost $3.00 to retail price $9.00.

Yes...in this example the wholesalers profit margin is 66.6% and the retailers profit margin is 66.6%. Do you mind me asking what buisness your in? Most retailers get a profit margin of 30-40%. that is the only reason I am asking. No set rule on this though

AS, I really think you should back off here. The comment about Don being "without moral or ethics" sounds libelous to me. We get it, you hate brokers and you want top dollar for your business even though your business underperformed last year.
You disrespected his profession without any disclaimer that there may be a chance that there are good brokers out there. He never called you a racist. He simply wrote that people who hate on an entire group of people are indicative of racists and chauvinists.
How is he violating your privacy? You were the one who went on an internet forum with your initials as your handle. I have no idea who you are just from those initials anyway. Maybe he could have respected your wishes but it is hard to be nice to somebody who is not nice in return.
Personally I would like to see of yours and Don's posts removed from the three threads that you are fighting on and start over fresh.

I would differ with you KS. And I have been in a number of different businesses, before becoming a Broker. Your second paragraph was what I was alluding to. There was no intelligent rationale for your editorial comment.
