GroceryWines app on smart phones
Up-and-running Wine Ratings App - Big Potential
The wine app for the rest of us
The average wine consumer spends $8 on a bottle and buys that wine at a supermarket. Yet consumers looking for a great bottle of wine at that price usually have no idea. We've all seen it, someone standing in the wine aisle of the supermarket scanning labels and prices, clueless as to what might be good. Ask most people, and the label usually seals it.
Our application - GroceryWines® - changes all that. We've developed a system to match award winning wines with grocery store inventory. You're at Whole Foods and want to spend $10 on a nice bottle of red for that first date? GroceryWines is your answer - pick the store, the type of wine you want and then the price - wines ranging from Best of Class to Bronze are at your fingertips. Successful wine pick, successful first date. Download the app at www.grocerywines.com. My name is Andy and with my wife Trish, we launched our app GroceryWines. We've set up the business, have the trademark and have deployed on both Android and IOS systems. We are now ready to sell our business as we want to move onto other things. As with most start-ups, GroceryWines is currently on a zero-revenue model, but the possibilities for driving revenue are tantalizing - advertising by wineries to put their bottles at the top of the list; a pro version for cost that would take users to more wines and features; supermarket sponsorship; or links to 3rd party sites such as wine.com which generates income through pay-per-hit. We are looking for a buyer of our unique product for low cost and for us to retain a 10% equity stake. We will provide 20 hours of training plus remain available for consulting; Andy would like a position on the board (unpaid). We would require you to prepare legal documentation for acquisition to be reviewed by our lawyer. If you buy our company, you will get the following: • IOS (IPhone) mobile application developed in Objective-C using XCode. • Andriod mobile application developed in Java using Eclipse. • Mobile-friendly website developed in HTML5/CSS3. • API developed in C#.NET using Visual Studio. The API serves data to the apps and website. • Administration tool developed in C#.NET Winforms using Visual Studio. • All intellectual property and documentation including design documents, graphics, legal documents, research documents, videos, press kit, slide decks, accounting records, business card design, etc. • GroceryWines® trademark. • Domain names GroceryWines.com, GroceryWines.net, GroceryBeers.com • Cloud hosting service membership (5 months left with SmarterASP.net). • IOS Developer and Google Play Developer membership. • License to WebHarvy data scraping tool. If you are interested and would like to talk, please contact us.
