Business Description

Founded in 2001, the Company’s fleet consists of 160 late model rental units including cars, trucks, minivans, Sport Utility Vehicles (“SUVs”), and 15 passenger vans. By using the strategy of purchasing pre-owned automobiles, a significant portion of the depreciation associated with new automobiles is avoided. To keep up with fleet market values, all units are depreciated at a minimum of 2.25% per month.

The Company has developed a customer base consisting of the general public (60% of sales), corporate accounts (20%), and insurance and service replacement business (20%).

Management is constantly working to establish relationships with insurance companies, car dealerships, auto body shops, and corporations via continuous personal networking and relationship-based marketing activities. In addition, the Company has an organized marketing campaign that consists of mail-outs, handouts, local advertisements, Yellow Page advertisements, membership in local business organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce, and working with officials to become part of the city, state, and federal bidding procedure for transportation needs.

• U-Save franchise: As a U-Save franchise, the Company has an exclusive territory which includes the entire Columbia, South Carolina, metropolitan area. The franchisor has over 300 locations in 42 states and provides the Company with a well-established name, online reservations, fleet planning services, training, support, insurance, and national marketing initiatives.

• Projected increase in base year earnings: Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (“EBITDA”) is projected to increase to $747,000 in 2013. This increase is largely the result of closing and reducing the expenses associated with the retail car sales lot.

• Cash Business: U-Save receives nearly all of its revenue from credit card and cash payments. As such, the Company does not have collection problems, nor does it have to finance its receivables.
