For over twenty seven (27) years, the Company has helped high tech manufacturers increase quality standards, improve productivity and maximize profits. The Company is North America’s leading provider of certification training for high tech manufacturers. The firm trains engineers, managers, supervisors and operators for well known international manufacturers of high tech products, medical devices, aerospace technology and biomedical devices.

With thirteen (13) locations, the Company teaches technology professionals the skills to accelerate their careers and supplies high tech businesses the talent to succeed.

With fourteen (14) Master Instructors and six (6) Design Instructors, all of the company’s are W-2 employees of the firm and represent some of the premier industry experts in their field. The Company’s VP, Technical Director helped develop and write many of the standards used worldwide. The five person support staff keeps the nationwide network of locations functioning effectively.

The four-person management team in place includes three (3) veterans, each with twelve (12) plus years with the firm. The team includes an experienced VP of Operations, Master Instructor, VP, Technical Director and Controller.

Revenues grew 34% over the four years ending in 2014. Revenue growth continues in 2015, with an increase of 33% year over year through July 2016.

The Company headquarters is located in New Hampshire for the convenience of current ownership. They have additional corporate space in the Chicago area. The Company has training locations throughout the US and Canada. In California, key locations include Silicon Valley, Los Angeles and a new location in San Diego. The company has a presence in major metropolitan areas like Boston, Chicago, Seattle and Minneapolis. To meet the increasing demand from new customers, they are constantly working to create new strategic locations to provide professional training.
The Company is the premier training solution for technology manufacturers in need of certification for engineers and assembly line employees alike. The Company trains both instructors (train the trainer) and on the finer points of electronics assembly. The Company constantly updates course offerings to insure its customers are prepared as revisions in the code evolve. To compete manufacturers need to continuously educate their workforce to insure high quality products, maintain low defect rates with their customers and continuously improve the speed with which the product is manufactured. A well-trained and motivated staff is paramount to achieving this success. Finding an economical way to consistently train supervisors and staff to insure they are at the forefront of standards is an invaluable asset The Company has four main competitors in North America. Two are smaller while one focuses more on product sales with less of an emphasis on training.
Growth & Expansion:
The Company’s effort to form strategic partnerships has been extremely beneficial over the past several years. A new partnership often begins as a discussion about training for a specific company and turns into an opportunity to set up a new location with a new client built in. The sales effort has mostly been reactive rather than proactive, but with model operations in place and working for both sides of the partnerships, a concerted sales effort could rapidly expand these profitable relationships. Capital Equipment Training provides another cross sell opportunity across the network of locations. With more skills being required to operate sophisticated production lines, there is a market to partner with equipment manufacturers to provide training on their product lines to purchasers of these systems and the industry as a whole. This is especially true as components become smaller and smaller, assembly can only be accomplished by machine, which may require extensive training to set up and operate efficiently. With the network of locations and the ability to distribute complementary programs, leveraging the expanding location network could provide for the growth of new offerings to existing and new customers.
Support & Training:
The current owner is willing to provide support and training for three to six months during the transition. There is a talented and experienced team in place which allows the Owner to function as a visionary rather than a necessary part of daily operations.
