Business Description

Private Practice Transitions is assisting a client, located in Eastern Washington, with the sale of his private practice. This individual has been a solo practitioner for more than 30 years, owns his building, and desires to sell his practice as a turn-key operation. The practice/case breakdown is approximately 40% criminal law; 25% plaintiff’s personal injury; 20% workers’ comp; 10% bankruptcy; 5% estate planning and real estate work. The office is fully furnished: desks, computers, scanner/printer/fax, filing cabinets and other furniture. The office is an 1897 restored home, with parking, abundant room to grow the practice, rent the additional office space, or bring in partners. The practice is located in a rural small town with limited competition and a great population-to-attorney ratio. If you are interested in exploring this opportunity, would like the freedom to be your own boss and build upon an established practice, then this is perfect for you. Call or email us to set up a viewing or to learn more about this practice. Email “Eastern Washington” to or call Justin D. Farmer @ 425.785.2453.

Detailed Information

Included in asking price
Real Estate:
Included in asking price
Building Sq. Ft.:
All assets will be included in sale price, such as office furniture, phone system, office supplies, printer/scanner/fax, and computers. Buyer will assume domain and trade names associated with the practice. Buyer also has ability to purchase the office itself!
While there will always competition in the legal field, my client has been in practice for more than 40 years and the practice itself has been thriving for more than 85 years!
Growth & Expansion:
There are many opportunities for short and long term future business growth by expanding the working hours. Currently, the Practice is open three (3) days per week for an average of 20 hours, but could see a 20-30% increase in revenue with an increase in operating hours (Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm).
Support & Training:
The lead attorney will agree to mentor, train, and otherwise transition the practice to any properly licensed attorney for a period of time. This can be discussed at more length, but ultimately will be determined by the buyer and how long he/she would like the lead attorney to stay involved.
Reason for Selling:
Looking for someone to continue the 85+ year legacy of the practice!
